The church financial policy is based as follows:-
- The daily running expenses (including our contributions to the Deanery and Diocese, and the insurance of the church) are covered by the 'giving' of the worshipping congregation. Christian 'giving' back to God is encouraged and we are so grateful to all those who give so generously. At the present time, and for the last several years, the "General Fund" has been in balance. New members who wish to give on a regular basis ( eg bank standing orders) are advised to contact the Treasurer, Christine Harris. All such regular payments can be "gift aided", which means that the church can reclaim tax paid on these payments, and this too is a valuable souce of income.

The cost of maintaining the building is covered by fundraising, or by legacy gifts, and a number of events take place throughout the year to bring in funds for this purpose. Open Gardens (every second year), Pimms and Pate (August), Mulled Wine (end November) and a House-to-House collection (September) are examples of such Fundraising events. By these means the Fabric of the church is repaired according to the Quinquennial inspections carried out by the architect. All works have to be approved by the DAC (Diocesan Advisory Committee) for the Care of Churches.
