We want everyone to feel welcome and safe in our church and have adopted the House of Bishops policy document <Promoting a Safer Church>.
In the light of latest Government advice to cease public gatherings, the guidance from the Church of England is that our usual pattern of Sunday services and other mid-week gatherings must be put on hold immediately. This means that no public services of worship on Sundays or weekdays can take place.
Our Parish Church, St Peter & St Paul, Fenstanton, will be open as usual during daylight hours for private prayer and quiet thought, for anyone who wishes to do so. Everyone is welcome to visit, but please take care for your own safety as we are unable to ensure that surfaces, door handles etc are free from viruses or other contamination, neither can we offer hand cleansers at present.
Please be assured we are finding new ways of “being the church” at this difficult time and we are thinking of alternative ways that we can help each other to stay in touch with one another.
